Are you on a health, and financial, kick? Research shows most UK adults are looking to improve their financial health in 2022

We noticed in a recent IFA Magazine article, more than half (55%) UK adults are on a mission to improve their financial health in 2022 (as shown in new research from global investment company abrdn).

After all the barriers posed by the pandemic, you may well be one of the many prepared to embark on making your money work harder for you over the coming year.

As part of your financial new year resolutions, you might be resolving to, 1) save more, 2) invest your money, and 3) spend less; as these were the top three most popular plans identified.

You might have your eyes on the overall health, happiness and wellness that improving your financial health can bring, which was seen as the top benefit in the research.  Perhaps it’s the help it could bring to supporting others, which came in at number two.

When it comes to investing, maybe you’re motivated by making your money have a positive impact on society (54%).  Similarly, it could be that you want to support causes dear to your heart (53%).

Here at Parsonage, we offer a range of responsible investment portfolios, which offer the option to invest whilst helping make a positive change.  These investments are made with the intention of generating positive social and environmental impacts, alongside a financial return.

If you’re being held back by not fully trusting the risks of investments, which was a main barrier in this research (36%), at Parsonage we can give you insights into investment risk and what it means, help you understand what level risk you are comfortable with, and tailor a solution to fit.
